The Student Groups for Sustainability competition is a points-based competition that encourages student societies and sports groups to compete for awards by completing sustainable actions.

The project links to The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and The University of Salford Sustainability Strategy. The main aim is to integrate sustainable practice into student groups, supporting them to create impactful positive change for society and environment. The project provides concrete actions that students groups can complete, based on themes linked to SDGs.

This is not just about one off actions, this is about supporting a cultural change at The University of Salford. Sustainability can be the integrated into all our actions and this can start with you.
