Campus League 6-a-side Football

Every Friday on our 3G, 20 teams take to the pitch to compete in not 1 but 2 football leagues! Decided by pre-season round robins, our teams compete for glory and gold (well, gold plated) in 45 minute games between 5-10pm and officiated by Manchester FA accredited referees. To register your team for the round robins and a chance to join our leagues, please email su-sport@salford.ac.uk with the subject “6-a-side league”.

This league is strictly for current Salford students only and you must have the details of at least 6 players in order to be registered. If you don't have a team but are wanting to still be involved, please email su-sport@salford.ac.uk and we can allocate you to a team!

Other Campus Leagues

Wanting to compete against other University of Salford students in a different sport on campus? Email us at su-sport@salford.ac.uk with your suggestions as we are looking to expand our Campus League offer this year!

Please note that campus league sports can involve a small fee to participate.

Free Sport Opportunities

Beginner‑friendly, low‑pressure sessions delivered by sports clubs. Students can try activities without commitment, cost, or expectations. These sessions act as the first touchpoint with club culture, volunteers, and community.

Embedding Free Sport within the sports pathway ensures that casual participants experience the community, belonging, and support that clubs offer, while clubs gain structured opportunities to recruit new members.

This aligns with SU priorities around student wellbeing, community building, and inclusive participation.
