As a student you have access to all of Salford SU's free activities that are put on throughout the academic year.
It's a chance to meet new people, try new things - and the best part? No commitment! You can dip in and out, and go to as many different free events or sessions that you would like to.

Our free activities include the following:
- Big and One-Off Events (Welcome Fair, Let's Talk About Sex, Halloween, Festive Week)
- Craft and Creative Activities (e.g. Crafternoon, Card Making, Pen Pals)
- Trips around Manchester (Stadiums, Museums, Walking Tours, Venue Tours)
- Food, Baking, and Cooking
- International & Cultural Activities
- Social (e.g. Board Games & Movie Nights)
- Connecting people (e.g. Speed-Friending, Chill and Chat)
- Free Fitness Classes

Who can attend?
To take part in the sessions, you must:
- Be registered on any University of Salford course (undergraduate, postgraduate, full-time, or part-time)
- Sign up and secure a free ticket via Native (links for next week’s sessions are below)
- Follow the University and SU Code of Conduct during all activities
About the sessions
- Classes officially begin 2nd February 2026 and will run until the end of March.
- Each class has a maximum of 6 spaces.
- Bookings open one week in advance, after the previous session has concluded.
- Bookings close at the end of the working day before each session so we can prepare the register.
