About Us

Salford University Men’s Football Club is made up of five teams, offering opportunities for players of all abilities to get involved. Two of our teams compete in the BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) leagues and cup competitions, while our 3rd, 4th and 5th teams take part in the University’s campus leagues.

With over 100 active players, we are the largest sports club within the Students’ Union, making us a big part of both the sporting and social life at Salford. Alongside regular matches and training, the club is well known for its socials from monthly nights out to FIFA tournaments, everyone has the chance to meet new people and get involved beyond the pitch.

All BUCS fixtures take place on Wednesdays at the David Lewis 3G pitches, right next to Peel Park Student Quarter. Players are selected through trials, and full membership with the club gives you access to training and eligibility to represent Salford in competitive fixtures.

Trials will be held W/C 15th September and cost £8. You can find all the trial dates and details via the link provided.
