This role will bridge Marketing and Commercial Services departments. It will support both departments in delivering social media content and will help boost student engagement through in-person activations.
This role will help play a part in bringing commercial services into a more developed brand architecture and to work alongside wider campaign’s integrated marketing plans.
This role will be line managed by Head of Marketing & Communications, and receive additional supervision from the Commercial Team.

Main Activities and Responsibilities
Delivery

Managing commercial social channels and scheduling content in line with direction from the Commercial Management Team. Social listening, including responding to users, interacting with organisation mentions online and interacting with affiliated stakeholders through correct social accounts.
Stakeholders

Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues throughout the Union, University and other partners. Including helping the Head of Marketing and Communications, and the Venue Manager, to build a strong link between our two departments.
Compliance

Adhere to all policies and procedures, and ensure all marketing and social media content is fully compliant with Salford SU and relevant University policy, legislation including Education Act, GDPR, licensing law and health and safety.
