University can be one of the most exciting times of your life, but can also feel a little overwhelming or even lonely at times.When you’re stuck in that headspace, taking the first step out of it can feel huge, but trying something new alongside people who are in the exact same boat makes it so much easier.

That’s where the Students’ Union Free Fitness Classes come in, here on campus at the sport's centre.

From Boxfit to Booty blast workouts, why not join the free weekly fitness sessions happening through February and March sessions designed to help you stay active, meet new people, and explore fresh ways to look after your wellbeing. 

Yes you heard us right, gym classes but with no membership needed or making any long-term commitment! These sessions give you access to high‑quality classes completely free of charge.

Whether you’re curious about group fitness, want to test out a class before buying a leisure membership, or simply hope to find a fun way to connect with others, this is your chance to get involved. You don’t need to be “sporty” or really confident, just happy to show up and give something a go. 

Every Monday:

Booty Blast (7:30am - 8am)

 

Every Tuesday:

Box Fit (18:15 - 19:00)

Booty Blast (19:15 - 19:45)

 

Every Wednesday:

MOVE (19:15 - 20:00)

 

Every Friday:

SWEAT Class (13:15 - 13:45)

 

What You Need to Bring

All equipment is provided. Just wear:

  • Comfortable clothing you can move easily in
  • Sensible, secure footwear (no boots or slip‑ons)

To keep sessions safe and enjoyable, spaces are limited. You must book a free ticket to take part.
