This membership allows you to join Team Salford teams! Each sports team will have its own membership fee which is detailed on the specific group. This membership covers the cost of your insurance and 100% of this goes to supporting sport groups.
This has previously sat built in to your groups memberships. We have separated this to make it cheaper for Salford students to join a second sports group.

Clubs and BUCS
Whether you’re an experienced athlete or looking to try something new, there is something for everyone at Salford Student’s Union. We have 31 different sport clubs to choose from, ranging from American Football and football to Equestrian, dance and more.
Many of our sports clubs also compete in BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport). BUCS is the organisation that runs university sport competitions across the UK, which gives students the opportunity to represent the University of Salford and compete against teams from other universities. Depending on the sport, this can include league fixtures, tournaments and national competitions.
You don’t have to be an experienced athlete to get involved, our clubs are welcome to all students with different abilities and experience levels, whether you are looking to compete, keep active or meet new people.
